Every bag is 100% handmade and completely one-of-a-kind. No two cowskins, leathers, or exotics are the same. We can make 6-7 bags out of each skin, so this allows you to create a matching collection of products. For example, you can get a handbag, purse, clutch, and duffle bag that all have the same pattern.

 

We use premium thread, high-end hardware, and YKK zippers.

Every bag and accessory is made in one of three small shops in Guanajuato, Mexico, by people that have been working with leather their entire life. They are the kindest and gentlest people you’ll ever meet. These artisans are mostly older women, but we also have on staff younger men in their 20’s and 30’s…so a great mix of people.

Our head leathermaker has been working with leather for 35 years and has a protégé that he is passing along all the secrets of the trade who has worked under him for 10 years. The exotic leather requires extreme precision and meticulousness, so these two handle all of our exotic products.

Guanajuato is a silver mining city in central Mexico. It has beautiful colonial architecture and narrow streets & alleyways epitomized by the Callejón del Beso (Alley of the Kiss), named like this because the exterior balconies are close enough for people to exchange a kiss.
